Korean pancakes, called bin dae duk, are unique in that they aren’t made with flour. Traditionally, bin dae duk includes small amounts of pork, but in the interest of healthy eating, this version is 100% plant-based – nothing but hearty beans, fresh vegetables, and a small amount of rice.

The base for traditional bin dae duk is about 2 cups of mung beans. it’s labeled as “peeled split mung beans.” or indian dhal

If you can’t locate mung beans, then you can substitute with yellow lentils or even chickpeas.

Measure out six tablespoons of calrose rice.

You could try using a different variety of rice, such as basmati or sweet brown rice, but it’s probably best to stick to traditional ingredients for your first go around with bin dae duk.

Combine mung beans and rice.

Now give the beans and rice a few good swirls with clean fingers. You won’t believe how nice this feels until you give it a go.

Next, add enough cold water to cover the beans and rice.

Let this sit for about four hours.

Now wash up two heads of zucchini, one red bell pepper, 3 spring onions, one yellow onion, and a handful of sesame leaves.

Sesame leaves are super rich in calcium and other minerals that are good for healthy teeth and bones. They also bring a lovely fragrance to the table. If you don’t have easy access to sesame leaves, you can substitute with a handful of fresh cilantro.

Here’s a closeup of sesames leaves, picked fresh from our garden this morning:

Use your best knife or mandolin to shred zucchini into thin strips.

We use a simple shredder for all the vegetable shredding that goes on in our kitchen.

Right after shredding the zucchini, sprinkle a flat teaspoon of sea salt on the zucchini and give it a good toss. You want to let this sit for a good hour or so to draw moisture out of the zucchini. I know this seems like a lot of salt, but you’re going to lose a lot of it a bit later, and any salt that remains on the zucchini will help season the pancakes.

Next, finely chop your red bell pepper. Remove the white flesh and seeds.

Now slice up the sesame leaves or cilantro.

Ditto the green onions. Slice the onions diagonally for a nice fit with the pancakes.

And that’s all for the vegetable prepping.

Once the mung beans and rice have finished soaking, strain and transfer the beans and rice to a strong blender. This is where having a Vita-Mix Blender really comes in handy.

Here’s a closeup of the mung beans and rice, just before blending:

Add 1 and 3/4 cups of fresh room temperature water to the beans and rice, along with a teaspoon of sea salt. Blend until you have a nice batter that looks something like this:

If you have to add more water to get things to blend, be sure to add just a tablespoon at a time to make sure that your batter doesn’t end up too diluted. You want it to look like a relatively thick pancake batter.

Now give the yellow onion a rough chop, add it to the batter, and give it another good blend until smooth.

After blending:

Now transfer batter to a large bowl, much larger than what will comfortably hold the batter, as you’ll be adding a small mountain of vegetables.

Remember the zucchini that we salted a while ago? Use a pair of clean hands to gently squeeze the moisture out of the zucchini – here’s about what you should be left with:

Transfer zucchini to the batter.

Next comes the finely chopped red bell pepper:

Green onions…

And the sesame leaves or cilantro:

Gently fold everything together with your most trusted wooden spoon.

And that’s that. You have your bin dae duk batter ready to go. You can store this batter in an air-tight container for up to a few days.

Once you’re ready to make bin dae duk that really should be eaten hot off the pan, heat a little olive or coconut oil over medium heat, then add generous pancake-size dollops of the batter to the pan.

Once you see a bunch of bubbles rise to the surface of the pancakes, give them a flip and cook for another couple of minutes. You should use the underside of your spatula to press down on the cooking bin dae duk for at least a few seconds to make sure that the batter and vegetables cook right through.

And the fruits of your labor:

A closeup:

If you happen to have some kim chi in the refrigerator, you can always add some to the batter before cooking. Traditional bin dae duk usually comes with kim chi, which adds another layer of mouthwatering flavor and texture. Stay tuned for a healthy kim chi recipe pictorial in the next few days…

You can enjoy hot bin dae duk pancakes on their own, or if you’d like a dipping sauce, combine 2 parts soy sauce with 1 part sesame oil and 1/2 a part vinegar – be sure to whisk well with a fork or chopsticks before dipping. De-lish!

The ingredient quantities mentioned above produce enough bin dae duk pancakes to comfortably feed at least four adults. But not to worry if you’re making these pancakes for one or two – you can always cook up the whole batch and re-heat leftovers later, or you can keep unused batter in the refrigerator and cook more as needed.

Happy eating.

Points to Consider Before Taking Another X-Ray

Have you ever sat or stood in front of an x-ray machine, covered with a bulky lead apron, waiting for someone who was standing behind a lead wall to press a button that would send ionizing radiation through your body? I don’t know about you, but I have never felt super comfortable having that tube pointed at my head or body.

I have long believed that widespread misuse of x-rays is one of the most harmful mistakes being committed by health practitioners. Before I get into some of the realities of how x-rays are misused, here are some underpublicized facts about x-rays and other forms of ionizing radiation – like CT scans and fluoroscopy – that are used for diagnostic purposes:

For decades, the scientific community has known that x-rays cause a variety of mutations.

X-rays are known to cause instability in our genetic material, which is usually the central characteristic of most aggressive cancers.

There is no risk-free dose of x-rays. Even the weakest doses of x-rays can cause cellular damage that cannot be repaired.

There is strong epidemiological evidence to support the contention that x-rays can contribute to the development of every type of human cancer.

There is strong evidence to support the contention that x-rays are a significant cause of ischemic heart disease.

You might be wondering: If all of the points listed above are true, then how is it that our society has come to use x-rays so frequently and almost without a thought to the harmful consequences of all forms of ionizing radiation?

Part of the answer to this question is that most health care practitioners have been educated to believe that the benefits of taking x-rays for diagnostic purposes far outweigh the negative consequences of being exposed to ionizing radiation. This attitude is well represented by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) (US), who have this to say about x-rays:

For the exposures encountered in conventional radiography [x-rays], the risk of cancer or heritable defects (via damaged ovarian cells or sperm cells) is very low. Most experts feel that this low risk is largely outweighed by the benefits of information gained from appropriate imaging. X-rays are monitored and regulated to provide the minimum amount of radiation exposure needed to produce the image.

Doctors strongly disagree with the NIH on this topic.

Doctors believe that x-rays can be extremely useful and necessary in certain situations, doctors also believe that they are usually taken unnecessarily and for the wrong reasons. Here are a few examples:

X-rays for Medico-legal Protection

In today’s society, I believe that some health practitioners think first and foremost about protecting themselves against legal action. Rather than devote all of their energy to thinking about what is absolutely best for their patients in the short and long term, they perform diagnostic tests and give recommendations that fall in line with their professional “standards of practice.” This is undoubtedly so that if trouble arises, the doctor has records to prove that he gave perfectly competent care according to his profession’s standards of practice.

In deciding whether to do an x-ray or to go without it, I believe that most doctors make this decision based on their standards of practice vs. what they would do for their loved ones.

X-rays to Create the Feeling that Something has been Done

Many patients want their doctors to do something. They don’t want to hear about what they should be eating or how much rest they should be getting. Some patients almost feel cheated if their doctors don’t perform a blood test, take an x-ray, or do some other diagnostic test that makes them feel like answers are on the way. A doctor who does not give in to these expectations runs the risk of not having enough patients to make a living.

X-rays as a Marketing Tool

If you study radiology, you will learn that everyone develops degenerative changes around their spines as they age – this is to be expected, just like wrinkling of your skin. Perhaps you can imagine how a health practitioner can paint these normal, degenerative changes and other clinically irrelevant findings in a frightening way to persuade a patient to receive his or her treatments.

If you don’t have any training in radiology, and your health practitioner points to x-rays that show areas of your spine that are worn down or “out of alignment,” and you are told that you are in danger of developing crippling arthritis in the years ahead if you don’t receive his or her treatments, what are you to do?

Many health practitioners are fully aware of the authoritative power and influence that x-rays can have on selling their treatments, and unfortunately, some of them don’t hesitate to use this power and influence to its fullest extent. If you are skeptical about this, you need to participate in a practice management seminar to experience firsthand how some practitioners are finely trained to translate using x-rays to making money.

So what does all of this mean for you the next time that your doctor recommends taking an x-ray?

Some Practical Recommendations on Taking or Not Taking X-rays

If a health practitioner recommends that you have an x-ray or CT scan done, find out exactly what the health practitioner is looking for. More importantly, find out what the practitioner will recommend that you do for each possible major finding. If you cannot see yourself following through on any of the practitioner’s recommendations for each possible major finding, it seems logical not to expose yourself to unnecessary ionizing radiation to begin with. If your practitioner is unwilling to address all of your concerns, you really need to find a practitioner who will.

If you decide that taking an x-ray will help you figure out what the problem is and/or help you figure out how to get better, ask the person who will take the x-ray exactly what the dose will be. If he or she cannot tell you exactly what the dose will be, it is likely that you will be exposed to a higher dose than is necessary. If this is the case, you need to find another x-ray facility, one that is fully committed to using the lowest possible dose for its x-rays.

If you have x-rays taken, know that these x-rays belong to you. If you don’t feel good about your doctor’s interpretation of your x-rays, you can take your x-rays to other practitioners to ask for as many other opinions as you wish. You may be asked to sign a form in order for your doctor or x-ray facility to release your x-rays to you, but make no mistake about it – your x-rays belong to you.

I believe that babies, growing children, and pregnant women should not be exposed to x-rays unless they are faced with a life or limb-threatening situation. Fetuses, babies, and growing children have rapidly growing cells that are much more susceptible to genetic damage when exposed to ionizing radiation than the slower growing cells of adults.

If you want to learn more about why avoiding unnecessary x-rays is important to experiencing your best health, I highly recommend that you read Radiation from Medical Procedures in the Pathogenesis of Cancer and Ischemic Heart Disease: Dose-Response Studies with Physicians per 100,000 Population, by John Gofman, MD, PhD.

The harmful effects of ionizing radiation that are listed at the beginning of this article are from Dr. Gofman’s book.

Dr. Gofman is one of the few scientists in this world who has had the courage to fight for greater public awareness of the dangers of ionizing radiation.

Mammograms:

What For, Exactly? By a respected American Doctor

If you’re still going for a mammogram screening once every year or two years, please consider the following: 1.A routine mammogram screening typically involves four x-rays, two per breast. This amounts to more than 150 times the amount of radiation that is used for a single chest x-ray. Bottom line: screening mammograms send a strong dose of ionizing radiation through your tissues.

Any dose of ionzing radiation is capable of contributing to cancer and heart disease.

2.Screening mammograms increase the risk of developing cancer in premenopausal women.

3.Screening mammograms require breast tissue to be squeezed firmly between two plates. This compressive force can damage small blood vessels which can result in existing cancerous cells spreading to other areas of the body.

4.Cancers that exist in pre-menopausal women with dense breast tissue and in postmenopausal women on estrogen replacement therapy are commonly undetected by screening mammograms.

5.For women who have a family history of breast cancer and early onset of menstruation, the risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer with screening mammograms when no cancer actually exists can be as high as 100 percent. A large-scale screening study published in September of 2000 by epidemiologists at the University of Toronto revealed that monthly breast self-examination following brief training, coupled with an annual clinical breast examination by a trained health care professional, is at least as effective as mammography in detecting early tumors, and also safe.

Since we know that properly performed breast exams are just as effective at detecting early tumors as mammography, how can we justify the use of screening mammograms when we know that all forms of ionizing radiation increase the risk of developing cancer and heart disease? With all of the controversy surrounding the usefulness of mammograms, it’s easy to lose focus of what’s really important: what are you going to do if you develop breast cancer? If you rely on the recommendations of a conventional health care provider, you are likely to begin with surgery and follow it up with chemotherapy and/or radiation. About three years ago, a family friend asked for my help after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After reviewing her records and understanding her situation, I told her that I thought it was a good idea to go ahead and have her tumor surgically removed and then to make significant changes to her daily food choices to support her recovery. I also told her that in no circumstances would I recommend that she have chemotherapy or radiation after surgery. Shortly after having surgery, she called to tell me that her family doctor was strongly recommending that she see a specialist for chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

I gave her doctor a call and asked him why he was recommending chemotherapy and radiation. His reply was that his recommendation was in line with the standards of practice outlined by the College (of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario), and that if he didn’t make this recommendation, he could be sued for malpractice. Although I was a bit startled by his reasoning, I went on to ask him what sort of dietary recommendations he planned on giving his patient to help support her recovery. “Well, there’s no evidence that diet has any effect on breast cancer, so she can eat anything she wants,” he responded. Although I was already well aware of some of the big problems in our health care system, talking with this doctor firmly convinced me that the average person with no medical background has a solid chance of being killed by medical treatments rather than passing on from natural, degenerative causes. Does this sound like an obvious statement to you?

If not, please spend some time reading through our articles archive to learn how to best take care of your own health. With screening mammograms and all other screening and diagnostic tests, you owe it to yourself to always ask: what will I do if this test comes back positive? Hopefully, your research will lead you to learning about how everyday food and lifestyle choices are the main determinants of your health. Why wait for a mammogram, x-ray, or blood test to bring bad news before you begin to take care of your health each day? Perhaps you’ll learn to experience the power and freedom that come with forgetting about many of the screening measures out there and instead, using your time and energy to prepare more nutritious meals, get more rest, work on worthwhile projects, and spend meaningful and fun times with family and friends. Getting back to our family friend with breast cancer, she spent an entire year following her surgery eating a nutrient-dense, mainly raw, plant-based diet. She made and drank fresh vegetable juices every day. She took a high quality probiotic on a daily basis. I did acupuncture treatments for her on a regular basis to strengthen her immune system. About six months following her surgery, she added raw, organic eggs to her diet three times a week. One year following her surgery, she added wild fish and cod liver oil to her diet. She made sure that she got plenty of fresh air and sunshine whenever she could. She took time off of work and spent time every day praying and reading inspirational books. Through it all, we continuously worked at making sure that her tissues were not faced with excess estrogen and estrogen-like compounds. It has been three years now since her initial diagnosis of breast cancer, and I’m grateful to report that even her medical doctor declares her to be free of cancer. Please note: The information on mammograms at the top of this article is from an article written by Samuel Epstein, M.D.

Stop Poisoning Your Sex Life By Michael Castleman Sure, consuming lots of unhealthful foods can result in listless workouts, a flabby belly and a shorter life span. But lurking behind those buckets of finger-lickin’ goodness is a catastrophic consequence you may not have considered: Eating too much junk could be softening your sausage, and a lot sooner than you think. “Sexual function depends on the cardiovascular system, the heart and blood vessels, and the nervous system – the body’s electrical wiring,” says Shari Lieberman, Ph.D., a nutrition scientist and exercise physiologist in New York City. “Good food choices can keep these sexually crucial systems functioning at their best, but bad ones can poison them.” The occasional food splurge won’t destroy your mojo overnight, but consuming too many of the worst nutritional offenders is likely to sap your function sooner or later, adds Leslie Bonci, M.P.H., R.D., director of sports nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a nutrition consultant for the Pittsburgh Steelers. “It’s not that you have to avoid bad foods entirely. But eat them sparingly, and base your diet on the foods that are good for sex and for your body as a whole.” Here are the worst foods for your nether region, a rogue’s gallery of comestibles that can let the air out of your balloon faster than she can say, “That’s all right, baby. There’s always next time.”

b]1) Fatty meats: More bacon means less porkin’ Myth has it that gorging on red meat is manly, but fatty cuts of beef, bacon, sausage and full-fat luncheon meats can be wack for your wood. “Most men know that saturated fat and cholesterol narrow the arteries that nourish the heart and increase risk of heart attack,” Lieberman says. “But they also narrow the arteries that carry blood into the penis, which contributes to erectile dysfunction [ED].” These arteries, by the way, are some of the smallest and will be the first to jam up with plaque. Researchers at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia examined the cholesterol levels and sex lives of 3,250 men over age 24. They found that as a guy’s cholesterol went up, so did his likelihood of suffering from ED. Those with cholesterol counts above 240 were almost twice as likely to report erection problems as those with levels below 180. And while high cholesterol is bad in the long run, a single fatty meal can impair your arterial function immediately – something you may regret when she surprises you in her latest Victoria’s Secret purchase.

b]2) Dairy: Are you a man or a mouse? Low-fat milk and cheese can be excellent protein sources, as long as you aren’t allergic or sensitive to them. But think twice about opting for their higher-fat cousins. Most cheeses are high in saturated fat, and they can be as damaging to your arteries – both above and below the belt – as prime rib. “Many men know that meats cause problems, but don’t know that full-fat cheeses are just as bad,” Lieberman says. “The worst mistake is to combine meat, milk and cheese – for example, a bacon cheeseburger with a shake. A meal like that is loaded with saturated fat and, over time, can reduce blood flow into the penis.” Which could eventually leave it softer than warm brie. Merde!

b]3) Baked goods: The trans-formed man When hydrogen is added to vegetable oil to change it from a liquid to a solid, the result is something called trans fat. The prime example is margarine, but you’ll also find this kind of fat in a wide variety of crackers, cookies, chips and fried fast foods. And it’s bad – real bad. “Trans fats are worse for the arteries than saturated fats,” Bonci says. The Food and Drug Administration is planning to require that trans fats be listed on food labels, but until then cut back on any products that contain “hydrogenated” or “partially hydrogenated” vegetable oil, or margarines that aren’t labeled “trans fat-free.” Think of hard margarines as leading to harder arteries – and a limp noodle.

b]4) White flour: Don’t be a sponge-bread soft-pants Trans fats aren’t the only reason to cut back on packaged foods such as white bread, sweets and many refined-grain breakfast cereals. Processing removes most of the nutrients in these items, including ones that are important to your sex life. “For health, for fitness and for good sex, you want a well-nourished body, not one filled up on empty calories with few nutrients,” Bonci says. When whole wheat is processed into white flour, for example, it loses about three-quarters of its zinc, a mineral essential to men’s sexuality and reproduction. “One of the highest concentrations of zinc in the body is found in the prostate gland, which produces most of the fluid in semen,” Lieberman says. “There is some evidence that a diet high in zinc helps prevent midlife prostate enlargement and prostate cancer.” There’s another reason to avoid too many refined grains, Lieberman says: They’re associated with insulin resistance, a precursor of diabetes, which in turn can accelerate narrowing of the arteries, increasing your risks of heart disease and ED. Moreover, 60 percent to 70 percent of those with diabetes experience nervous-system disease as well.

b]5) Soy: Avoid too much of a good thing Yes, eating soy foods is good for you. In fact, studies of some traditional cultures in which soy is a major protein source found that many men who consume it regularly keep indulging in the pleasure principle well into old age. The FDA allows label claims that soy foods help lower cholesterol, and other studies have found that they reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Still, researchers haven’t ruled out the possibility that too much soy can affect your manliness. That’s because one of the ways it achieves its healthful effects is by mimicking the female sex hormone. “Soy foods have estrogenic qualities,” Lieberman says. “And it’s not really clear how this affects men.” While there’s no evidence that a moderate soy intake will have a negative impact on your sex life, it’s theoretically possible that a high intake could – say you were to drink several soy protein shakes, which are high in the estrogenic constituent called isoflavones, every day. “I’d say it’s fine to have soy foods a few times a week,” Bonci says. “Just don’t go overboard with them.”

b]Hear us now, thank us later While a double cheeseburger with fries is more likely to be followed by a nap than a romp in the sheets, most foods that poison men’s sexuality usually take decades to do their dirty work. Of course, if you abuse many of these foods, then your problems can start showing up in mild forms earlier in life, as early even as the mid-30s. Often, erectile dysfunction starts at this stage; some docs believe it’s an early indicator of arterial disease. So what’s a guy to do? “Start eating healthier now,” Bonci suggests, “and commit to improving your diet in the future. Every time you eat some vegetables instead of a muffin drenched in trans fats, you’re helping your arteries stay healthy – and that keeps your penis working properly as well.”

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well.

Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer.
Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this heal th hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.

This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as CorningWare, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies.

Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Cancer Update from John Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard Tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person’s life time.

3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle (lack of sleep) factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chem otherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinaltract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9 When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the p erson can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

A. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in ver y small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

B. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinaltract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk cancer cells are being starved.

C. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

D. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environm ent. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells, try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 d egrees C).

E. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water — best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tapwater. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti -oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs, etc.) to enable the body’s own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body’s normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

As health scare is abundant, reverberating from China’s Melamine baby powder scare. We strive to serve all our food on Japanese made Ceramic plates. This will minimize the amount of Melamine intake for our customer due to scraping on the plate with fork and spoon during eating. All our customer can rest assured, eat, scrape and enjoy our food untill the plate is really clean without a scare of Melamine poisining.

Also, the food tray we used are all stainless steel and ceramics to avoid aluminium poisining which is one of the main suspect for causing Alzeheimer disease world wide.

We are confident to say our food is clean and customer can be assured that clean and healthy food is our number 1 priority.

Dear Folks,

We have just received very encouraging feedback from a few of our customer who takes out food daily for lunch and dinner the past 1 month. Their waistline averagely went down by 1-2 Inches and weight down by 1.5-2 Kilos. Those who ate and then take home another serving for the evening experienced the greatest result of slimming down. A few others who took it for lunch only also experienced the same waistline trimmed although not until 2 inches !

Everything they did is the same daily, except they ate our food. We hope to be able to do the same for those who aspire for a healthier body while working hard daily in the office.

It would be a great help if reader can share with their friend on availability of such an affordable healthy food in Kulim. We can then expand the food selection to serve you more !!
